iRobot has launched its new flagship robot vacuum, the Roomba Max 875 Combo, priced at $1,199. This model debuts under its new owner, Picea Robotics, and showcases advanced cleaning capabilities.
A standout feature is the SealForce system, which improves carpet cleaning by creating a better seal around the cleaning head. Coupled with a powerful new blower motor, this technology delivers substantially deeper carpet cleaning.
The Roomba 875 boasts 35,000 Pa suction power and incorporates a self-cleaning roller mopping system with ThermaMist for stain pretreating. Advanced lidar and camera-based navigation systems allow for efficient obstacle detection and slimmer footprint design.
A mid-range option, the Roomba Plus 678 Combo, is also available for $899. It includes SealForce technology and a roller mop but with reduced suction power and airflow, omitting ThermaMist.
Both new models integrate with popular smart home assistants and are undergoing Matter certification, signaling iRobot's continued push for enhanced smart home integration.
