iPhone 17e: Budget phone with big upgrades

Apple has refreshed its entry-level iPhone with the new iPhone 17e, introducing meaningful upgrades that enhance its value proposition for shoppers seeking an affordable yet dependable device.

The iPhone 17e is equipped with Apple's current A19 chip and offers a generous 256 gigabytes of base storage, ensuring future performance and ample space for media. A significant addition is built-in MagSafe compatibility, opening up a vast ecosystem of accessories and charging solutions.

While tech enthusiasts might note compromises such as a 60-hertz display refresh rate, a standard notch instead of the Dynamic Island, and the absence of an Always-On Display, these omissions are less critical for the target audience.
