Apple has released iOS 26.3, an update that offers notable new features for iPhone and iPad users. A standout addition is the 'Transfer to Android' tool, accessible via the Settings app, designed to facilitate wireless transfer of apps, photos, and messages to a new Android device. While health data and accessories are not included in this transfer, the feature marks a significant ease for users switching operating systems.

For those staying within the Apple ecosystem, iOS 26.3 introduces redesigned wallpaper categories, separating them into Astronomy and Weather. The Weather section now provides enhanced customization options for the lock screen, including new widget layouts and font choices.

Additionally, select iPhones, including the iPhone Air, iPhone 16e, and cellular iPad Pro M5, will receive the 'Limit Precise Location' feature. This enhances user control over location data shared with cellular networks, offering a balance between privacy and emergency service needs. Compatibility requires an Apple C1 or C1X modem and carrier support.

Meanwhile, users in the European Union were anticipating Notification Forwarding and Proximity Pairing, which are absent in this release and may appear in a future iOS 26.4 update. These features are unlikely to be available in the US due to regional requirements.
