Intel Unleashes Upgraded Core Ultra 200S Plus Chips

Intel has launched upgraded Core Ultra 200S Plus processors, also known as "Arrow Lake Refresh," enhancing its recent desktop CPU offerings. These processors are designed to deliver improved gaming performance and efficiency.
The new chips incorporate additional processor cores, increased boost clock speeds, and enhanced support for faster memory. These collective improvements are projected to result in an average 15 percent uplift in gaming performance compared to previous models.
Specifically, the Core Ultra 7 270K Plus and 270KF Plus models now boast 24 cores, comprising 8 performance cores and 16 efficiency cores. This core count was previously only available in Intel's higher-tier Core Ultra 9 chips. Similarly, the Core Ultra 5 250K Plus and 250KF Plus receive an increase of four efficiency cores.
