These outages were not confined to a single region, with intermittent access also reported in Singapore, indicating a broader impact on Meta's infrastructure.

Reports of disruptions surged on Downdetector, with thousands of users in India and the US documenting their difficulties. While some users could access the platforms, individual features remained unavailable, suggesting an intermittent nature to the problems. Facebook website access was also affected, particularly in the US, where a majority of complaints pertained to the website. Meta had not provided an official explanation for the cause of the disruptions at the time of writing.
