Insta360, known for its action cameras, has introduced the Snap selfie screen, a device designed to significantly enhance mobile photography. This 3.5-inch touchscreen accessory connects via USB-C and magnetically attaches to the back of MagSafe-compatible iPhones, with an adapter ring provided for other phones.

The Snap enables users to utilize their phone's superior rear cameras for vlogging and selfies, offering a higher resolution than front-facing cameras. The screen allows for adjustments to zoom and focus, alongside framing shots before capture.

Insta360 claims its wired solution provides a more stable and lower latency feed compared to wireless alternatives. The device also supports Android phones with DisplayPort Alt Mode and is compatible with major third-party camera and social media applications.
