Summary
- Indigo app unifies Mastodon and Bluesky feeds.
- Cross-posting to both services is enabled.
- Subscription required for key features.

A new application named Indigo has launched, aiming to consolidate the decentralized social web. The app brings together separate social networks such as Mastodon and Bluesky into a single, unified experience for users. This integration provides a streamlined timeline that syncs across devices.
Indigo is developed by Soapbox Software, the team behind the cross-posting tool Croissant. The new app builds upon this previous experience, offering enhanced features for users of both open social networks. Users can differentiate posts from Bluesky and Mastodon visually within the app.
Additional functionalities within Indigo include options to automatically scroll to new posts, hide NSFW content, mute users or keywords, and filter replies. It also offers a dark mode and allows access to custom feeds and lists from both networks.
Advanced features such as cross-posting, syncing timelines across devices, and tracking trends require a paid subscription. These premium features are available through monthly, annual, or a one-time purchase option. Currently, Indigo supports iPhone, iPad, and Mac devices.
