From February 16-20, prominent figures from tech giants like Google, Nvidia, and OpenAI are expected to attend. The summit's core agenda revolves around exploring AI's profound impact on human progress and environmental sustainability.
The event, organized by the Ministry of Electronics & IT, will feature Prime Minister Narendra Modi's inauguration. Alongside global tech leaders, around 50 heads of state and ministers are anticipated, with an expected footfall of over 50,000 attendees. India intends to leverage this platform to demonstrate its AI prowess and champion the cause of democratizing AI resources globally.
This summit follows India's active participation in international AI forums, including co-chairing the AI Action Summit in Paris with France in 2025. With India already ranking third globally in AI competitiveness, the nation aims to harness AI for economic growth and societal advancement, aligning with its vision for Viksit Bharat 2047.
