- It fits inside 35mm cameras, no external modules.
- Supports RAW, JPEG, and 4K video capture.

The company I'm Back has announced an updated digital film roll, featuring a larger APS-C sensor that directly installs within 35mm film cameras. This latest iteration eliminates previous external module requirements, allowing users to retain the original handling of their analog equipment while embracing a digital workflow. The device will shoot in RAW and JPEG formats and support 4K video capture. Initial prototypes were developed around 10 years ago, with significant improvements seen in 2020 and 2023. The new roll promises internal storage, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and a removable battery, alongside film-style presets. This project aims to revive historic cameras rather than compete with modern digital cameras.
