Ikea has partnered with Xbox to introduce YXSTABY, a new collection of home goods tailored for gamers. This collaboration merges Ikea's signature design with elements inspired by Xbox, creating a range of furniture and accessories.
The YXSTABY line features pieces such as seating, storage units, stools, chairs, and display cases. These items predominantly utilize Ikea's classic pine, black, and white tones, accented with the distinctive Xbox green. Notable products include a thumbstick-shaped stool and a D-pad cushion.
Additional offerings comprise a gaming monitor stand, a TV stand, and a glass display box for controllers. Storage solutions are also available, including a wheeled end table with hidden shelves and a toolbox-style item that functions as a laptop stand. A gaming lounge chair completes the collection.
Carl Ledbetter, head of design for Xbox Devices, stated that the translated elements like the D-pad and thumbstick celebrate Xbox design while fitting into homes. This collection follows Ikea's previous ventures into gaming furniture, including a line with Asus in 2021.
