Hyundai Ioniq 6 N: Sedan Goes Supercar

Hyundai's N Division has engineered a potent new version of its Ioniq 6 EV, creating the performance-oriented 6 N sedan. This model injects exhilarating dynamics into a more mature package, featuring a powerful 650hp and 770Nm torque output, enabling a top speed nearing 160mph.

Significant upgrades include an all-new suspension system with advanced ECS dampers and increased axle stiffness for superior grip. The N e-Shift system gains an additional gear, simulating an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, while the N Active Sound+ offers a more immersive auditory experience with a bespoke, coarser engine note.

The Ioniq 6 N presents a more understated performance aesthetic than its hatchback counterpart, distinguished by a large rear spoiler and 20-inch alloy wheels. Inside, supportive bucket seats and a sporty steering wheel enhance the driving focus.

Despite its supercar-rivaling power, the Ioniq 6 N maintains impressive efficiency, capable of 291 miles on a single charge via the WLTP cycle. Its 800V architecture supports ultra-fast charging, achieving an 10-80% charge in just 18 minutes.

On the road, the Ioniq 6 N excels in various modes, offering smooth city driving and thrilling performance on winding roads with its customizable N1 and N2 buttons, including a 10-second 'N Grin Boost' for maximum power. On the track, its 650hp and N Launch Control propel it to 62mph in 3.2 seconds, with robust brakes and excellent body control.
