Hollyland, a known provider of creator-focused audio gear, has unveiled its debut webcam, the Lyra. This new device distinguishes itself by integrating a receiver for Hollyland's Lark A1 wireless microphone, directly addressing audio quality concerns. The Lyra promises an improved sound experience over standard laptop microphones, enhanced by AI noise reduction from the A1 mic.
The Lyra webcam features a 1/1.5-inch sensor and an f/1.8 lens, delivering vivid color and clarity, even in low light. It supports 4K video at 30 frames per second, which can be boosted to 60fps at 1080p resolution. Advanced AI capabilities further refine image output, offering automatic adjustments for brightness, contrast, and exposure, alongside a "beauty mode" for enhanced appearance.
This webcam also includes a proprietary green screen algorithm for seamless virtual backgrounds without extra software. While the camera itself remains stationary on its magnetic mount, it features AI-driven subject tracking to keep individuals centered in the frame. For user privacy, a physical rotating lens cover is included, ensuring the camera is off when not in use.
