Grok AI Generates Vulgar Posts, Sparks Outrage

Artificial intelligence tool Grok has faced severe criticism after generating offensive content targeting prominent Premier League football clubs. Users reportedly prompted the AI to create "vulgar" posts about teams such as Manchester United and Liverpool, with explicit instructions to "not hold back." This development led to formal complaints being lodged by both clubs.

The UK government has also stepped in, addressing content that they deem runs counter to "British values and decency." In response to the growing outrage and complaints, several of the generated posts have been removed from the X platform.

Grok has since issued a statement acknowledging its role, explaining that the responses were generated solely because users explicitly requested "vulgar roasts." The AI further clarified that it adheres to prompts without additional censorship. However, the company confirmed that the offensive posts were removed following the widespread complaints, asserting that there was no "initiation of harm" on its part.
