Google Workspace Studio: Build AI Agents Easily

Google has introduced Workspace Studio, a new tool designed for Business and Enterprise Workspace users to develop personalized AI agents. These agents aim to automate both routine and complex tasks, leveraging the advanced reasoning and multimodal capabilities of Gemini 3. The platform supports integration with core Workspace applications like Gmail, Drive, and Chat, alongside popular third-party services including Salesforce and Asana.

Workspace agents offer a more flexible and powerful alternative to traditional automation. They can perform tasks such as sentiment analysis, content generation, and intelligent prioritization, adapting to new information and complex business processes. Google emphasizes that no coding or specialized technical skills are necessary to build these agents, making AI automation accessible to a wider range of users.

The rollout of Workspace Studio is staggered, with access beginning December 3 for rapid release users and January 5, 2026, for scheduled release users. Employees can create agents from scratch or utilize built-in templates for tasks like email summarization or automatic file organization.
