Google is advancing Gemini's integration into Workspace, particularly within Google Docs. Gemini will now be able to analyze and summarize comments, offering suggestions for document revisions and generating responses to collaborator feedback. Users can query Gemini with phrases like 'Summarize comments from Sarah' or 'What are the unresolved issues?' directly within Docs via a bottom bar or side panel.
Additionally, Gemini can now create and edit visuals, including diagrams and infographics, leveraging the document's context to generate relevant images without external tools. These visual features are currently available on the web. The Gemini app for macOS, released in April, has been updated to include system-wide voice control. This feature allows users to interact with Gemini using voice commands across any application by pressing the Fn key.
