The new Goal Zero Yeti 1500 portable power station is engineered for demanding outdoor and emergency use. Its aluminum construction is IPX4 water and dust resistant, vibration-tested for rough conditions, and shielded against extreme temperatures ranging from -4 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit.
This power station boasts a 1,505 watt-hour capacity and a 2,000-watt continuous power inverter with a 3,600-watt surge capacity, enabling it to power appliances like refrigerators and power tools. Its Lithium Iron Phosphate battery is designed for longevity, rated for 4,000 charge cycles or a decade of daily use.
A significant advantage is its rapid charging capability; it reaches 80% capacity in one hour from a standard AC outlet and offers a solar recharge of up to 900 watts for a full charge in under two hours. The Yeti 1500 also includes a comprehensive array of ports, including four AC outlets and four 140-watt USB-C ports.
