Old CPU, High Price: Mini PC Falls Short
27 Jan
Summary
- Device uses a six-year-old dual-core Intel processor.
- Graphics performance lags behind modern integrated GPUs.
- Competitors offer better hardware for similar prices.

The GMK G3 Pro mini PC enters the market with a significant drawback: a six-year-old Intel Core i3-10110U processor. While this dual-core chip can handle everyday tasks like web browsing and document editing, its performance is basic.
The integrated Intel UHD 620 graphics also fall short of contemporary standards, limiting graphical capabilities. However, the device does offer flexibility with support for up to 64GB of DDR4 memory across two SO-DIMM slots and generous storage through dual M.2 slots.
Despite these memory and storage advantages, the G3 Pro faces stiff competition. For around $130, competing mini PCs offer newer processors, more RAM, and larger SSDs, making the G3 Pro seem overpriced for its aging components and limited performance.
