Fractal Scape: Apple-esque Luxury, Gaming Price

Fractal Design has entered the wireless gaming headset market with the Scape, priced at $199.99, offering a premium, minimalist design reminiscent of Apple products. Available in black and white, its understated aesthetic, detachable boom mic, and Bluetooth connectivity allow for versatile use beyond gaming.

The Scape comes with a wireless charging dock that automatically powers the headset on when removed. It provides up to 40 hours of battery life with RGB disabled and 24 hours when enabled. The headset features high-grade memory foam earcup covers for comfort.

Sound quality is described as crisp and clear with a strong bass response. It includes both a detachable boom mic and a built-in omnidirectional mic, though the noise cancellation on both could be improved. The design favors smaller head sizes, and the headband padding may be insufficient for some users during extended sessions.

The headset competes with models like the PlayStation Pulse Elite and Razer Blackshark V2 Pro, offering similar features at a more attractive price. Its construction materials and finish are of high quality, making it a strong contender in its price range.
