As of June 19, 2026, the Fitbit Charge 6 remains a top choice for a health and fitness tracker, even since its late 2023 release. It features a compact AMOLED touchscreen and is noted for its lightweight comfort and accurate health insights.
Key advantages include its nearly week-long battery life and practical smart features, such as Google Maps and Google Wallet integration, alongside mirrored smartphone notifications. The device's onboard GPS allows for location tracking during outdoor workouts without needing a paired smartphone.
Comparatively, the Fitbit Charge 6 demonstrated nearly identical fitness tracking precision to the more expensive Apple Watch 10 during testing. It even outperformed its Google-built counterpart, the Pixel Watch 3, in accuracy. Currently, this capable tracker is available for $99, a substantial reduction from its typical $159 price point.
