A special-edition Fitbit Air has been announced, specifically designed to integrate with the popular Pokémon Sleep game. This collaboration, timed with Pokémon's 30th anniversary, merges Fitbit's health tracking capabilities with the sleep-focused gameplay of Pokémon Sleep, which was released in 2023.
The device syncs with both the Google Health app and Pokémon Sleep. It tracks daytime metrics like movement and heart rate, and overnight data on sleep duration and quality. This information can then be used within Pokémon Sleep to attract more Pokémon based on the player's "Drowsy Power."
The special-edition Fitbit Air costs $129 and will be available for pre-order, with shipping commencing September 15. It will be sold through the Google Store and Target, offering a playful way to enhance health tracking for franchise fans. The standard Fitbit Air, launched in May, features a slimmer design and AI-powered coaching.
