Epic & Google Forge New Metaverse Path

Epic Games and Google have reached an agreement on a new category of applications termed "metaverse browsers." This collaboration, detailed in a revised binding term sheet, indicates a joint effort to shape future digital experiences. The initiative surfaces amid a broader industry trend, where figures like Mark Zuckerberg are pivoting towards artificial intelligence. However, Epic CEO Tim Sweeney remains a vocal advocate for the metaverse, viewing it as a significant future development. His previous remarks in January hinted at this collaboration, mentioning the metaverse in the context of a substantial Unreal Engine and services deal with Google.
