i2Cool, a company originating from the City University of Hong Kong, has commenced its 4th anniversary global tour in Vietnam, themed '4ward Thinking, 4ward Cooling'. This initiative showcases their innovative, electricity-free cooling technology, which utilizes biomimicry inspired by Saharan silver ants. The material-based solution achieves surface cooling through high solar reflectivity and mid-infrared emissivity, eliminating the need for electricity or refrigerants.

The tour's first phase in Vietnam included stops in Haiphong, Hanoi, and Ho Chi Minh City. In Haiphong on March 24, i2Cool presented its technology and introduced a nano-particle that can be integrated into various materials for passive cooling. During VIETBUILD 2026 in Hanoi from March 26 to 30, the company displayed its full range of cooling solutions.
