Summary
- AI vision system tracks movement using 17-point detection technology.
- The fan automatically oscillates and directs airflow to the person moving.
- It costs $850 and combines a smart fan with an air purifier.

Dyson has introduced an innovative fan with an integrated air purifier that uses artificial intelligence to track and follow individuals within a room. This new device, named the Purifier Cool Find+Follow, employs AI vision to detect movement and automatically oscillate airflow to the person, ensuring consistent comfort. The system processes images in real-time on the machine itself, instantly deleting them without storing personal identity.
The smart fan is designed to adapt to user behavior, providing purified air even as people move. It can also intelligently share airflow among multiple individuals in the same space. For energy efficiency, the fan automatically shuts off when no movement is detected, signaling that the room is empty.
Equipped with a K-carbon and HEPA filter, the Dyson Find+Follow claims to capture 50% more nitric dioxide and 99.97% of ultrafine particles up to 0.3 microns, meeting HEPA H13 standards. It includes a built-in monitor for pollutants like PM2.5, PM10, VOCs, NO2, and formaldehyde.
Controllable via the MyDyson app, the unit is suitable for rooms up to 290 square feet. The HEPA filter has a one-year lifespan, and the oscillation range extends up to 350 degrees. Weighing 12 pounds, the Dyson Find+Follow Purifier Cool is available for $850.
