Ducati has expanded its single-cylinder supermoto range with the unveiling of the Hypermotard 698 Mono Nera, set for European release in June 2026. This new variant introduces a distinct 'Nera' styling, characterized by an all-black finish complemented by Ducati Red accents on the frame and wheels, giving it a sharp, aggressive look.
Cosmetic enhancements include homologated Termignoni silencers with black end cans and red detailing. Notably, Ducati has made its Quick Shift (DQS) Up/Down system standard on the Nera, aiming to refine gear transitions for a superior riding experience.
The motorcycle is powered by Ducati's 659cc Superquadro Mono engine, derived from the 1299 Panigale platform. This powerplant generates 77.5 hp, revving up to 10,250 rpm, and features advanced engineering like Desmodromic valve timing and an 116 mm piston.
Weighing 151kg (excluding fuel), the Hypermotard 698 Mono Nera offers agile handling. Its electronic suite includes cornering ABS with Slide-by-Brake, traction control, wheelie control, and multiple riding modes. An optional racing exhaust can boost power by an additional 7hp. The Hypermotard 698 Mono Nera is priced at EUR 13,990.
