Dropbox Integrates with ChatGPT for Productivity
17 Apr
Summary
- Dropbox now works within three ChatGPT apps.
- Users can access and share files directly in ChatGPT.
- Reclaim.ai, a scheduling tool, is also integrated.

Dropbox is now seamlessly integrated into ChatGPT's growing ecosystem of productivity applications. This collaboration introduces three new apps: Dropbox, Reclaim.ai, and the upcoming Dropbox Dash. These integrations allow users to access, preview, and share files directly within the ChatGPT interface. Additionally, users can generate content and save it immediately to their Dropbox, bypassing the need to leave the chat.
The Reclaim.ai application, which is part of this integration, functions as an AI-driven calendar tool. It synchronizes with Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook to enhance daily planning, effectively resolve scheduling conflicts, and provide a clearer overview of time management. This feature is currently rolling out globally in English.
Expected to launch in the coming weeks, Dropbox Dash will offer new capabilities. This tool is designed to aggregate information from various connected work applications, enabling ChatGPT to deliver more personalized and context-aware responses. New users will have access to a complimentary 30-day trial.
These advancements signify a shift in AI capabilities, moving beyond simple query responses to a more integrated work assistant. By accessing user files and schedules, ChatGPT can offer assistance grounded in real-world context, thereby saving significant time and enhancing efficiency for both solo professionals and teams. Existing Dropbox permissions will remain in place, ensuring unchanged access controls.
