Dreame Unveils 8K Action Camera

Dreame has unveiled its highly anticipated Leaptic Cube, marking its entry into the action camera market. This innovative device sets itself apart with its ability to record video in a stunning 8K resolution, surpassing the capabilities of many competitors. The camera's design allows for the separation of the compact camera module from its 2.27-inch screen, offering users unprecedented flexibility in how and where they capture footage.

Key technological advancements in the Leaptic Cube include a 1/1.3-inch sensor and a 155-degree wide-angle lens, which work together to capture superior video quality, even in low-light conditions. While 8K recording is capped at 30fps, this high pixel count aids in post-production reframing and enhances built-in stabilization. The camera also supports 4K at up to 60fps with HDR or 120fps for slow-motion effects.

Further enhancing its appeal, the Leaptic Cube integrates AI-powered tracking and auto-framing, alongside a voice-controlled AI assistant for seamless operation. Battery life can be extended to 220 minutes with an optional external battery dock. Dreame has not yet disclosed pricing or an official launch date for this groundbreaking device.
