For those seeking an affordable and user-friendly drone, the DJI Neo presents an excellent option. This self-flying drone is currently available for $169, representing a $30 saving during Amazon's Memorial Day sale. Its lightweight design, weighing just 135 grams, eliminates the need for FAA registration or a Remote ID.
The DJI Neo supports advanced features such as subject tracking and includes eight QuickShots modes for diverse content capture. It offers flexible control through voice commands, a mobile app, or an RC controller. The drone records ultra-stabilized 4K video, benefiting from DJI's renowned stabilization technology and Level-4 wind resistance.
Additionally, full-coverage propeller guards ensure enhanced safety when navigating obstacles. While there have been discussions regarding new U.S. restrictions on DJI drones, these measures impact future imports, not currently stocked inventory. Consumers can still purchase and operate drones already available through retailers.
