This peripheral set distinguishes itself by employing supercapacitor technology, a departure from traditional Lithium-ion batteries. This advanced technology enables remarkable battery performance for wireless devices.
Dell reports that an exceptionally brief 5-second charge can power the devices for an entire day. Furthermore, a 5-minute charging session brings both the keyboard and mouse to full capacity. Once fully charged, the keyboard is designed to operate for approximately three months, while the mouse can last for about 1.5 months.
This innovative mouse is also recognized as the world's lightest rechargeable mouse that does not use Lithium-ion batteries. The Dell Pro 7 Rechargeable Compact Keyboard and Mouse, model KM746, is scheduled for release in North America on April 16th, 2026. This launch marks a significant advancement in the longevity and charging efficiency of wireless computer peripherals.
