CRKD, known for its Nitro Deck accessory, has announced the Ult Pro controller, positioning it as the ultimate option for Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 users. This new controller emphasizes customization, featuring six remappable inputs, adjustable trigger travel, and swappable components accessible via the CRKD Companion App.
The Ult Pro allows users to remap any button and store profiles directly on the controller. It incorporates long-lasting Hall effect trigger sensors and drift-resistant TMR thumbsticks, components not found in Nintendo's official offering. The controller also supports rumble and motion control.
Compatibility extends to the original Nintendo Switch and PC, with a 2.4GHz wireless adapter included. PC gamers can achieve a 1000Hz polling rate when wired. Notably, the Ult Pro undercuts the official Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller in price, costing $69.99 / £64.99 compared to Nintendo's $84.99 / £74.99.
Bundled with its own charging dock, the Ult Pro is available for pre-order today in three distinct versions: Smoke Black Edition, Pal Grey Edition with Switch markings, and a Smoke Black Edition with PC markings. Shipping is expected in June.
