Cricket Wireless Launches 5G Home Internet Service

Cricket Wireless is now offering its 5G Home Internet service, leveraging AT&T's 5G network for residential internet needs. This new prepaid service provides unlimited data for $60 per month, with Auto Pay enabled, and requires a one-time purchase of the Cricket Gateway modem for $50. New customers can bundle a wireless line with home internet for $75. Existing Cricket Wireless customers can add the home internet service for a reduced rate of $45 per month.

The Cricket Gateway creates a Wi-Fi network with download speeds up to 300Mbps and upload speeds up to 30Mbps. In rare instances of network congestion, speeds may be temporarily throttled. Service availability and performance are dependent on local AT&T 5G coverage. As a prepaid service, there are no contracts, and the purchased gateway means no return hassle upon service termination. Taxes are included in the advertised prices.
