The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2026 has officially commenced, unveiling a wave of innovative home technology. Lockin has introduced the V7 Max and Veno Pro smart locks, which perpetually stay charged using AuraCharge, an optical wireless charging system. This development eradicates the need for frequent battery replacements in smart home security.
LG is making laundry more efficient with its new Signature washer-dryer combo, capable of completing a 10-pound load in under 90 minutes, a notable improvement over previous models. The company also demonstrated its CLOiD robot, designed to fold laundry, unload dishwashers, and assist with light cooking, although its current pace is quite deliberate.
