CES 2026: Projectors Get Brighter, Smarter, and More Portable

CES 2026 revealed a wave of new projector innovations, with a strong focus on enhanced portability, picture quality, and intelligent features. Samsung's The Freestyle+ portable projector now boasts double the brightness and an auto wall calibration feature, simplifying projection on uneven surfaces. This next-generation model also enhances focus and keystone adjustments through AI, promising a crisp, rectangular image anywhere.

Hisense expanded its lineup with the PX4-Pro ultra-short-throw projector, improving brightness and contrast with its new IRIS system and trichroma laser. The company also introduced the XR10, a premium long-throw projector delivering 6,000 ANSI lumens and advanced laser engine technology for superior brightness and color. Xgimi also showcased its Titan Noir Max, a home theater projector featuring an advanced dynamic iris system and expanded lens shift capabilities.

Other notable launches included the AWOL Vision Aetherion Max ultra-short-throw projector, which addresses common UST projector issues like focus and color fringing. Soundcore debuted the Nebula X1 Pro, an all-in-one mobile theater system with a 7.1.4-channel Dolby Atmos sound system, all housed in a portable, wheeled tower. These releases collectively point towards a future of more accessible and higher-performance home cinema experiences.
