Celestis, Inc., a pioneer in space memorialization for over three decades, announces its upcoming Infinite Flight mission. This venture will send names, ashes, and DNA into deep space aboard Stoke Space's Nova rocket, a rapidly reusable launch vehicle. The mission is slated for the fourth quarter of 2026.
Launching from Space Launch Complex 14 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Infinite Flight will place participant capsules containing cremated remains or DNA into Nova's upper stage. Following an orbital burn, the spacecraft will embark on an enduring heliocentric orbit, serving as a cosmic monument.
Celestis partnered with Stoke Space for its commitment to sustainable exploration and Ensemble for mission management. Nova's reusable design aims to revolutionize spaceflight economics and environmental impact, allowing remembrance, science, and sustainability to journey together.
