Summary
- The camera lacks a rear LCD, offering a screen-free shooting experience.
- It features a real xenon gas flash for superior lighting and motion freezing.
- A built-in, non-replaceable battery offers about 500 photos per charge.

The Camp Snap Pro camera has been released, distinguishing itself by the absence of a rear LCD screen, a design choice aligned with its brand that originated from creating cameras for screen-free environments.
This new model retains the core philosophy of its predecessor, now available for $69, by focusing on essential photographic functions. A key enhancement is the inclusion of a genuine xenon gas flash, which provides powerful illumination capable of freezing motion and compensating for challenging lighting conditions, surpassing the LED flash of the original model.
The Pro version also offers four distinct picture profiles, which users can personalize through a dedicated webpage, providing more creative control than the single profile on the standard edition. The camera measures 3.0 by 5.0 by 1.5 inches and weighs 5.1 ounces, making it pocket-friendly.
Its industrial design sports a classic film camera aesthetic with a silver-and-black finish, deviating from the more colorful options of the standard Camp Snap and Flashback One35 V2. However, it features a non-replaceable battery, which, while long-lasting for about 500 photos, raises concerns about e-waste.
Included is a 4GB microSD card, sufficient for 800 to 1,000 photos, with a secured door. The camera also includes a USB-C port for data transfer and charging, and a standard tripod socket on its baseplate, a feature absent in some comparable models.
Controls are minimal, featuring a shutter release and a dial for different capture modes on top, and a three-position flash power switch on the front. A four-digit monochrome display shows photo count, date, time, and speaker volume, with settings accessed via the memory card door.
