Bose has unveiled new wired earbuds, signaling a resurgence for the audio format. The Bose Noise Cancelling Wired Earbuds are priced at $99 and utilize a USB-C connection, addressing the decline of the traditional headphone jack.
A key feature is the inclusion of active noise cancellation (ANC) and Bose's "Aware" mode, offering transparency to ambient sounds. These capabilities are notable additions for wired earbuds.
For enhanced usability, the earbuds are equipped with four microphones for clear calls. They also incorporate silicone ear stabilizers, designed to keep the earbuds securely in place, especially during movement. Physical controls for music playback and track skipping are integrated for user convenience.
These wired earbuds are set to be available on October 15th, offering a choice of colors including White Smoke, Black, and a limited edition Dewdrop Mint. While the $99 price point may seem high for wired earbuds, the inclusion of ANC and Bose's audio quality reputation contribute to their value proposition.
