Blink has introduced a new Wired Floodlight camera system featuring two 2,600-lumen LED floodlights and a built-in 105dB siren. The camera captures 1080p video at 30fps with a 143-degree field of view, offering both infrared and full-color night vision powered by its bright LEDs.
The fixture is designed for hardwiring and includes adjustable mounting arms for flexible positioning of the lights and camera. The system requires a 4-inch weatherproof electrical box for installation, with additional mounting hardware provided in the package.
Basic functionalities like live viewing and motion notifications are available without a subscription. However, paid plans offer enhanced features, including continuous live streaming, recording capabilities, and person detection. A local storage option is also available via the Blink Sync Module 2 hub with a USB drive, though this excludes person detection.
