Black Ops 7 Season 5: Wild New Weapons & Maps Arrive

The fifth season for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is set to launch on July 23, 2026, bringing a substantial amount of new content to players. This update includes five new multiplayer maps, with three available at launch: Jubilee, a rural Japanese setting; Frequency, a Black Ops 4 remaster; and Dig, a remake from Black Ops 2. Two additional maps, Turbo Tilt and Freerun: Descent, will be released in the later Season 5 Reloaded update.

Beyond new maps, Season 5 introduces several new game modes. Players can experience Overdrive Domination, a variation on the classic Domination mode, and Gauntlet Rush, which cycles through different game types. The mid-season update will also see the return of Cranked Moshpit. New weapons are a major highlight, with the FG42 assault rifle and dual Gremlin SMGs available at launch. Later in the season, the Mammoth LMG and a mace melee weapon will be added. New attachments, like the Jäger 45 Grid-Breaker Kit, will also be unlockable through weekly challenges.
