Summary
- The Zenbook 14 features a unique textured body and vibrant color options.
- It boasts a strong, lightweight construction but a keyboard prone to flexing.
- Battery life lasts just over 12 hours, significantly less than some rivals.
The Asus Zenbook 14 (2026) offers a distinctive design with a unique textured finish and vibrant color options, setting it apart from typical laptops. Its construction is commendably strong and lightweight, though the keyboard exhibits some flex.
The device handles everyday tasks like productivity and streaming with ease, and features a sharp 1920 x 1200p OLED display. However, it struggles with gaming due to the absence of a dedicated GPU. Fan noise under load is audible but managed well, keeping temperatures mostly cool.
A notable weakness is the battery life, which clocks in at just over 12 hours for video playback, falling significantly short of competitors such as the Asus Zenbook A14, which offers double the longevity for a similar price.
Preorders for the Zenbook 14 begin now, with prices starting at £799.99 (approximately $1,080 / AU$1,500). Availability in the US and Australia is pending confirmation, with shipments expected in September.
