Summary
- Drift-resistant TMR thumbsticks offer superior accuracy.
- Dual-mode triggers provide lightning-fast micro-switch response.
- Custom profiles inaccessible on Xbox without PC connection.
The Asus ROG Raikiri II Xbox Wireless controller, launched on December 10, 2025, offers a premium gaming experience for $189.99. It features drift-resistant TMR thumbsticks for exceptional accuracy and dual-mode shoulder triggers that can switch to lightning-fast micro-switches, enhancing gameplay in fast-paced titles.
This controller supports multiple connectivity options, including Bluetooth, 2.4GHz wireless, and USB-C, with impressively low input latencies. Its ergonomic design includes textured grips and well-placed rear buttons, complemented by customizable RGB lighting.
A significant drawback is the inability to switch between custom profiles directly on Xbox; this requires a PC connection via Asus's Gear Link software, which offers granular control over stick curves, trigger response, and haptics.
Despite the limitation for Xbox users, the Raikiri II stands out as a responsive and highly customizable controller, particularly for PC gamers seeking advanced features and precise control.
