Aqara has unveiled the Spatial Multi-Sensor FP400, a cutting-edge presence sensor capable of discerning posture, whether sitting, standing, or lying down. This technology allows for highly personalized smart home automations. For example, it can trigger reminders to move if you've been sedentary for too long, enhancing well-being.
The FP400 is also adept at tracking multiple individuals, capable of monitoring up to 10 people simultaneously. Users can define specific zones within a room, enabling tailored responses such as turning on a TV and dimming lights only when you're settled on the couch. This granular control elevates the smart home experience.
Further enhancing its utility, the FP400 supports both Thread and Zigbee connections and is fully Matter-compatible, ensuring broad smart home ecosystem integration. It offers flexible installation options, mountable on walls or ceilings, and can even detect if an object has been moved, adding another layer of intelligent monitoring.
