Apple Watch Hypertension Feature Delayed in India

Apple has announced a delay for the hypertension notification feature on its Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4 in India. This feature will now be available next year, as the company awaits additional regulatory clearances. The Apple Watch Series 12 is slated for release on September 18, with pre-orders now open. The device will be available in stores starting at Rs 56,900.

The new Apple Watch Series 12 introduces enhanced health and fitness capabilities. These include more frequent heart rate and heart rate variability measurements, powering features like a new readiness score. The device also incorporates advanced health tracking such as ECG, fall detection, and emergency SOS. Furthermore, users can expect improved battery performance, with up to 24 hours of everyday usage and 10 hours during outdoor workouts, a 25% increase over the previous model.
