Apple's Ultra Laptop: OLED Touchscreen Incoming!

Apple is reportedly planning to introduce a new category of laptop, possibly branded as the MacBook Ultra. This forthcoming device is expected to feature a groundbreaking OLED touchscreen and will be positioned above the current MacBook Pro models.

The MacBook Ultra is anticipated to run on M6 silicon and offer an entirely new feature set, justifying a significantly higher price point. Initial speculation suggested a late 2026 release, but reports now indicate a launch in the first half of 2027, potentially delayed due to RAM supply issues.

This Ultra branding may not be limited to laptops, with rumors circulating about potential iPhone Ultra, iPad Ultra, and even AirPods Ultra models. This strategy could signify Apple's intent to establish a distinct premium tier across its product ecosystem.
