Former CEO Tim Cook attributed these hikes to a global RAM shortage, calling them "unavoidable" due to a "100-year flood on the memory pricing."
The cheapest of the new iPhone 18 series, the iPhone 18 Pro, is priced at $1,199, with the iPhone Duo reaching $1,999. A standard iPhone 18 model was not announced this week but is anticipated to launch next spring.
