Summary
- The P1i projector offers 1080p video and Google TV for streaming.
- Its unique fold-out speakers promise louder sound than rivals.
- Despite a low price, it lacks a built-in battery for true portability.

Anker has introduced the Soundcore Nebula P1i projector, aiming to make high-definition viewing accessible at an affordable price point of $369. This new model boasts 1080p video resolution and integrates Google TV for a seamless streaming experience, allowing users to access a wide array of apps directly from the device.
Distinctive fold-out speakers are a highlight, designed to offer superior and louder audio compared to other budget projectors. However, the P1i sacrifices true portability by omitting a built-in battery, and its brightness is rated at 380 lumens, lower than some other Anker projectors. Connectivity includes HDMI 2.0 with ARC and a USB-A port, supporting 4K input but outputting at 1080p.
The projector features Anker's Smart Instant Setup, which automatically adjusts autofocus, keystone correction, and screen fit for easy alignment. Its LED light source has an extended lifespan of over 30,000 hours. While image quality is sharp in the center, edges can be softer, and optimal viewing requires a dark environment due to its 380-lumen brightness. The fold-out speakers, while loud and clear in the midrange, lack significant bass, though EQ settings and Bluetooth pairing can improve the audio experience.
