Meet Sassy Alexa: Adults-Only Voice with a Wicked Wit
13 Mar
Summary
- Alexa Plus now offers 'Sassy,' an unfiltered voice for adults.
- This new voice features razor-sharp wit and playful sarcasm.
- It requires additional verification and is distinct from previous versions.
Alexa Plus has expanded its voice options with the recent introduction of 'Sassy.' This new personality, launched in January, follows earlier releases like 'Brief,' 'Sweet,' and 'Chill.' Sassy is described as an unfiltered voice featuring razor-sharp wit, playful sarcasm, and occasional censored profanity, targeting an adults-only audience.
Accessing the Sassy voice requires additional verification checks. Unlike the cheerful 'Sweet' voice, which expresses 'pure joy,' Sassy is positioned as a more mischievous option, suggesting a readiness for 'wrecking some things together.' This development distinguishes it from AI chatbots like Microsoft Tay and characters such as M3gan or AIA, offering a distinctively adult-oriented conversational experience.
