Summary
- AI startup Tsavorite Scalable Intelligence secures over $100M in pre-orders
- Developing Omni Processing Unit (OPU) to unify CPUs, GPUs, memory, and connectivity
- Expects to deliver chips and AI appliances supporting all agentic AI workflows by 2026

In a significant development, AI startup Tsavorite Scalable Intelligence has announced that it has secured over $100 million in pre-orders from enterprises and cloud providers across the U.S., Asia, and Europe. The company's pre-orders are for its Omni Processing Unit (OPU), a groundbreaking compute architecture that unifies central processing units, graphics processing units, memory, and connectivity in a single device.
The OPU's unique capabilities enable it to be configured to meet diverse market and application needs, addressing the growing complexity of artificial intelligence workloads. This demand for scalable AI solutions is driving the industry to seek platforms that can effectively manage power consumption, scalability, and cost, facilitating broader adoption of AI infrastructure.
Founded in 2023 by former Intel and chip industry veterans, Tsavorite Scalable Intelligence expects to deliver its innovative chips and enterprise-class AI appliances capable of supporting all agentic AI workflows by next year. "We've built the first truly composable, developer-friendly, AI platform that delivers step-change gains in efficiency, cost and scale from edge to hyperscale," said CEO Shalesh Thusoo.
The company is leveraging Samsung's SF4X platform solution to fabricate the OPU, positioning it to meet the growing demand for scalable and cost-effective AI computing solutions.
