AI Poised to Dominate LTTS Revenue
12 Oct
Summary
- AI to generate 80% of revenue in five years.
- Six focus areas will outpace company growth.
- New AI manufacturing lab launched in Bengaluru.

L&T Technology Services (LTTS) anticipates artificial intelligence to be a significant positive force, projecting that its six core focus areas will contribute roughly 80% of its revenue within five years, a substantial increase from approximately 50% last year. These areas, including digital manufacturing and software-defined mobility, are expected to exhibit accelerated growth and higher profit margins.
CEO Amit Chadha explained that LTTS engages with AI through three channels: AI in engineering for accelerated work, AI in products for edge devices, and AI in manufacturing and operations. The latter two represent new business ventures for the company, helping to offset pricing pressures seen in more traditional IT services. Chadha emphasized that AI-led engineering work commands better pricing, differentiating LTTS from commodity services.
The company is also strategically investing in AI infrastructure, as evidenced by the recent inauguration of an NVIDIA-powered Engineering Intelligence (EI) lab in Bengaluru. This facility allows clients to explore AI-native manufacturing, digital twins, and autonomous systems throughout the entire manufacturing lifecycle. LTTS anticipates continued headcount growth to support its expansion trajectory.
