A revolutionary AI system called SMF VoXAI is giving a voice back to millions worldwide who have lost their ability to speak due to degenerative diseases. This innovative technology crafts personalized digital avatars that precisely mimic the user's appearance, voice, facial expressions, and even their unique personality traits.
By analyzing past conversations and personal data, the AI learns to communicate in a manner that is authentic to the individual. Unlike older technologies that were slow and expensive, SMF VoXAI enables users to respond in real-time within three seconds, overcoming the frustration of falling behind in conversations.
Developed by the Scott-Morgan Foundation in partnership with D-ID, ElevenLabs, and Nvidia, this software is being offered for free. Its creation, spearheaded by ALS-paralyzed chief technologist Bernard Muller using only eye-tracking, marks a significant advancement in assistive technology, aiming to restore dignity and connection.
