- The Acer Nitro XV275U Z2 will launch later this year for $329.
Acer announced its new Nitro XV275U Z2 mini-LED monitor, set to launch later this year with a compelling $329 price tag. This model features an impressive 1,000 nits of HDR brightness, powered by 1,152-zone mini-LED backlighting. The technology delivers enhanced contrast ratios and excellent darkness.
Industry experts suggest mini-LED is the future of display technology, offering advantages over OLED. Key benefits include exceptional brightness and superior text clarity, a common challenge for OLED panels. Unlike OLED, mini-LED displays are not susceptible to pixel burn-in.
While mini-LEDs have slower gray-to-gray response times compared to OLED and TN panels, the Acer Nitro XV275U Z2's 0.5ms GTG should suffice for most users, excluding ultra-competitive esports gamers. This development signifies a significant drop in price for advanced mini-LED technology.
