Acer's Feather-Light Swift Blade 14 Redefines Portability

Acer has introduced the Swift Blade 14, a remarkable new laptop weighing an astonishing 0.8 kg (1.76 pounds), positioning it as potentially the lightest 14-inch laptop announced to date. This ultralight device is powered by Intel's "Wildcat Lake" architecture, specifically utilizing the Intel Core 7 350 chip, which is engineered for more affordable and lighter computing devices. The Swift Blade 14 is constructed using a lightweight combination of magnesium-aluminum alloy and carbon fiber.

This new model offers several display options, including 1920x1200 IPS and various OLED configurations up to 2880x1800 resolution, balancing screen quality with power efficiency. Storage options extend up to 1TB of PCIe Gen4 SSD, paired with 12GB of LPDDR5-6400 memory. Connectivity is standard with Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and a pair of 10Gbps USB-C ports, reflecting the limitations of the Wildcat Lake platform's I/O capabilities. The Swift Blade 14 will be available in marshmallow blue and white color options.
